The Year 5/6 girls’ football team at Hedworth Lane had an outstanding week, playing three matches and winning every single one in convincing fashion. The girls were dominant throughout, with some impressive scorelines, including fantastic 6-0 victories. Their success was built on excellent teamwork, determination, and brilliant play across all areas of the pitch. Every player contributed to a superb team effort, making it a week to remember. A special shout-out goes to Sadie, who may not have got her name on the scoresheet, but her work rate, commitment, and tireless effort for the team were phenomenal. She led by example and played a huge part in the girls’ success. Well done, girls!
