A huge well done to our Year 5 and Year 6 pupils who proudly represented Hedworth Lane at the South Tyneside Dodgeball Festival! The children showed fantastic energy throughout the event, winning the majority of their matches and drawing just one. Their competitive spirit, focus, and outstanding behavior were on display in every game, showing impressive sportsmanship.

To top off a brilliant event, the day finished with a friendly clash between our two year groups, where Year 5 ultimately took the crown! A special congratulations goes to Charlie, who was named overall Performer of the Day out of all the participating schools—an amazing achievement.

Finally, a huge thank you to our wonderful parent helpers, as these memorable trips out simply would not be possible without your support!
