What a fantastic day Class 1 had on their visit to the Centre for Life in Newcastle! 🧪🚀🔬

Our young scientists enjoyed an action-packed day full of discovery and exploration. They travelled through the wonders of the universe in the incredible planetarium, took part in a hands-on chemical reactions workshop in the laboratory, and explored the interactive exhibitions where they investigated fascinating scientific concepts, including light and space.

The day ended with an exciting live science show all about fossils, where the children learned how fossils are formed and what they can teach us about life millions of years ago.

The pupils were a real credit to our school, showing enthusiasm, curiosity and excellent behaviour throughout the day. A wonderful learning experience that has certainly inspired the next generation of scientists! 🌍✨🦖
