Class1, 2 and 3 enjoyed their day at Arbeia learning about the Roman Fort and why it is important for our local history. They handled a variety of artefacts (some actually found on site at Arbeia) and they tried to figure out what they were used for. They also created a Frieze Frame where they drew some of the artefacts in the museum and put them together to create one big piece of artwork. The children were so engaged during our walk round and found out some very interesting facts about what life would have been like in Roman times. We are so proud of their outstanding and  sensible attitude!
