Year 6 had a fun and informative time at Safety Works in Newcastle on Monday. This is a facility where young people and community groups can learn about safety at their interactive education centre. Scenarios included keeping safe around water and learning about the role of the coast guard and the police.

They also thought about peer pressure, making good choices and being responsible for their own actions in the future.
