Earlier this term, Year 5 and 6 had the opportunity to participate in the “Stronger Shores” workshop, part of a wider initiative aimed at strengthening British coastlines and communities in the face of flooding, coastal erosion, and climate change. The workshop provided valuable insights into the environmental challenges affecting our coastal areas and explored ways in which we can all play a role in building resilience. Students engaged in discussions about climate change, sustainability, and the importance of protecting our natural resources. They also made their own environmentally sustainable plastic!
