Today, Choir continued their festive program by entertaining Christmas shoppers at the Viking Centre in Jarrow. Mr Richardson joined us and the choir sang brilliantly to a growing crowd. The Christmas tree provided the perfect backdrop for this lovely festive event.

Last Tuesday, our Choir was invited to sing for the residents of Sycamore Care Home in Boldon. The children were welcomed by many residents who had come to hear them sing. The choir sang a range of songs and encouraged the residents to sing along, which they did! We had a lovely afternoon. Well done, Choir!

Choir kicked off the festive season, performing at a special Advent service at Boldon Independent Methodist Church to a packed audience. They sang two sets of three songs, including solo performances from Frances and Freya which wowed the audience. Thank you to Mr Richardson for accompanying us and to all of those who attended, it really was a lovely start to our Christmas program.

This afternoon, a group of children from Year 4 represented Hedworth Lane during a football tournament at Boldon School. Three teams, made up of children from Classes 4, 5 and 6, all played matches against other local schools. The children displayed real team spirit, trying their best and had a great time competing. The team from Miss Gill’s class were triumphant, winning their group and receiving a medal each. Well done!
